OLYMP launched Men in OLYMP Spring/Summer 2012 Collection by Georg H. Füth, Head of Design.
A synonym for a clear, distinct and minimalist look. A refined world of fresh grey tones provides the large framework for the modern business collections. Cool but not cold. The neutral colour schemes are complemented by stone, putty, khaki and beige.
Clear accents with shirts and pullovers give a revitalized look to the overall image. With clear aqua, bright pistachio and rosé. Further accents are provided by ultramarine and luminous red.
A clear change toward new stripes has taken place with the designs; in neutral colours, combined in tone, or in rich accent colours. Stripes on a white background are also stimulating. Sequences with a variety of repeats and wider awning stripes are the ultimate in fashion here.
The compositions are very understated and tasteful in coordinated tones. White collars or collar elements are used to underline the clean image. Collar designs are compact. New Kent-collar styles and small high-buttoned Button-down collars (ex-clusively in the fashion segment – such as OLYMP Level Five) emphasise the purist look.
The basis for the knitwear is the finest merino wool. Many mélange colours have been matched to the shirt colours in order to achieve the perfect look. Cricket themes provide fashionable accents with both jackets and pullovers. New here are the polo designs.
Southampton is the inspiration for a very relaxed and smart casual look with maritime ambitions. Imaginative compositions with tonal details such as prints and embroidering form the basis, while white trims highlight the summer freshness. Here, too, stripes are the new feature. Thrilling sequences provide the necessary variation. Collar styles are courageous. Small Kent collars in the style of a Cutaway collar and stand-up Button-down collars break new ground.
