In the most dangerous discipline, Individual Eventing, Dainese will be partnering the only Italian competitor, the police officer Stefano Brecciaroli. Stefano who is taking part in his third Olympics after Athens and Peking, won his place in the team riding Apollo Van De Wendi Kurt Hoeve, a Belgian Warmblood that has been his faithful companion since early 2009. Since that date, horse and rider have gradually achieved a number of significant International placings to join the elite of the eventing discipline.
Rodrigo Diaz, a Colombian competitor originally from Bogotà who specialises in show jumping, will also be wearing items from the Equestrian Collection by Dainese while riding Royal Vincken.
Another Columbian, the 22 year old Daniel Bluman, will be riding Sancha in the show jumping event also wearing items from the Equestrian Collection by Dainese.
The presence of Dainese in these sports areas means much more than simple sponsorship. Information gathered from competition is fed back to D-Tec - the Research & Development Dept – who, learning from it, then create the latest protective technologies for dynamic sports aimed to the end consumers.
The events will run in London from 27 July to 12 August 2012.
