The popularity and demand for Islamic fashion is on a constant rise. During the ongoing holy month of Ramadan, several international design houses have launched new apparel ranges to suit the modest dressing sensibilities of the Muslim population across the world.

The Dubai–based fashion boutique Salma Khan Fashion House, owned by the UAE-based designer of Pakistani origin Salma Khan, has joined in the festivities by unveiling its Arabian fashion-inspired Spirit of the Desert collection. Replete with modern cuts and silhouettes, the vibrantly printed and textured 40-piece line includes jalabiyas, kaftans, blouses, Aladdin trousers and skirts.

Jeddah fashion label Zad for Zakia Attar Designs, from the Saudi fashion designer Zakia Attar, has also released collections dedicated to the auspicious month and upcoming Eid al-Fitr festival. Made from lightweight linens, cotton and viscose fabrics, the crochet infused pieces include formal, semi-formal, casual and semi-casual abayas and thobes.

Omani clothing brand Max has launched a new Ramadan range for kids. Based in summer-friendly shades of ivory, warm brown, neon, orange, green and sea blue, the line is adorned with animal motifs and tribal prints. Incorporated with grown up yet playful silhouettes, the ensembles are maxi dresses, shorts, polo shirts and cute summer dresses.

In addition to the Middle Eastern labels, The New York-based brand DKNY has also recently released its first-ever 12-piece Ramadan collection, which features a printed pants and blouse combo, a side slit long skirt, an orange long sleeve maxi dress and sweeping dresses in monochrome, navy and soft jewel tones.

Also, the Bangladeshi industrial conglomerate Beximco Group has recently launched its first Ramadan and Eid inspired Beximco Luxury Lawn line, comprised of several stitched and semi-stitched, printed silk and chiffon fabrics made outfits.
