Asian PTA prices climb past week

PTA prices advanced in Asia in the last week due to persistent strong product demand in the region.
In FE Asia, average prices jumped up by US$ 15/ton and recorded at US$ 790/ton in the last week, after an increase of 1.94 per cent as compared to the previous week.
In SE Asia, average prices edged higher by US$ 10/ton and settled at US$ 800/ton in the last week, an enhancement of 1.27 per cent over the price prevailing at the end of the previous week.
In India, average prices climbed by US$ 10/ton and assessed at US$ 810/ton in the last week, as compared to the previous week, a hike of 1.25 per cent.
In China, average prices moved up by US$ 15/ton and finalized at US$ 790/ton in the last week, registering a lift of 1.94 per cent over the previous week.
