"The challenge for the big players is that the purchase, deployment, and management dynamics of enterprise applications are very different in the mid-market. Microsoft's challenge has been to enable its mid-market partners to compete with industry functionality, consistent tools and methodologies to deliver success. Kineticsware has focused on this opportunity, and has the potential to be very disruptive in the small and mid-sized enterprise software market."
Kineticsware's founders are Chief Executive Officer Jeff Sampson and Chief Marketing Officer Richard Barnett, both former directors responsible for the Microsoft Dynamics AX product line within Microsoft Corporation. Simon Thomason, Kineticsware's newly appointed EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) Managing Director, brings twenty years Microsoft industry experience to the role.
Most recently, Thomason served as Technology Vice President for Capgemini's United Kingdom and Ireland practice where he established the Microsoft Dynamics initiative globally.
Philip Stride, previously Managing Director for the Touchstone Group, will step into the role of United Kingdom Managing Director for Kineticsware. Under Philip's leadership, the Touchstone Group grew to be the largest revenue generating Microsoft Dynamics AX partner in the United Kingdom.
Kineticsware is expanding across Europe and has recently opened an office in Lomazzo, Italy that will serve as the company's base for its textile and apparel business unit. Kineticsware plans to expand further into Northern Europe later in the year.
According to Jeff Sampson, Kineticsware's CEO, "Our European launch is a natural extension of our relationships with the regional Microsoft organization, partners, and customers. We are excited to bring our industry solutions and partner enablement program to the European market to address the growing requirements of medium-sized, multinational customers in supply-chain intensive industries."
