Archroma, a global leader in colour and speciality chemicals, recently announced the launch of a cotton poplin colour library called Color Atlas by its Color Management service business.

Color Atlas is a physical library consisting of over 4300 colours in 6 volumes. The colourful book covers shades within each volume and comprises secure tabs to keep swatches ordered.

The Color Atlas also features a mobile-friendly online version with the “color-on-the-go” feature, which allows users to capture an image using a smart phone and identify the closest shade possible to purchase a colour sample immediately.

The colour library also adds swatch-specific information to each Engineered Color Standard, giving retailers, brands and mills instant access to more colour information than ever.

“With our new Color Atlas tool, we believe that we are redefining the concept of a colour library for the textile industry. We offer what we believe is a unique set of tools - through web-based software and customized services - for colour selection, colour development, colour standards, and the communication of seasonal colour palettes”, said Brad McClanahan, head of service businesses at Archroma Textile Specialties.  (HO)
