The recently concluded Dornbirn MMF Congress in Austria witnessed more than a 100 top class expert lectures from academia, research and industry, of which the share of industry lectures was nearly 50 per cent. Industry lectures were delivered mainly by various textile machinery producers like, Murata, Rieter, Saurer, Dornier and Groz Beckert.

The panel constituted of CEO's of various companies like Advansa GmbH, Dralon GmbH, Fisipe/SGL Group, Indorama Ventures, Lenzing AG and Märkische Faser GmbH.
Another panel discussion titled 'Future Requirements on the Innovation Pipeline – what opportunities can be provided by new communication technologies like Social Media?' was moderated by Prof. Susanne Müller from Hochschule Niederrhein.
Panel participants included, Tim Lucas from Adidas, Christoph Meister of Icebreaker, Sarah Hayes from Patagonia, Werner Battisti of Skinfit and Johannes Drexel of Urbanrock. (AR)
