Ethylene prices improve in US past week

Ethylene prices inched higher in US in the last week. Strong global energy rates supported the price gain along with improved buying activity.
In US, average prices went up by 1 cents/pound and assessed at 31 cents/pound in the last week, a climb of 3.33 per cent as compared to previous week.
Meanwhile in Europe, average prices advanced by US$ 20/ton and quoted at US$ 1200/ton in the last week, a lift of 1.69 per cent as compared to the previous week due to robust product demand in the region.
