Fanzz chooses Kenco to provide logistics services

Fanzz, one of the largest sports apparel and merchandise providers in the US, has chosen Kenco Logistics to provide logistics services from its facility in Salt Lake City. These services include inbound transportation management, distribution to retail and direct-to-consumer, and parcel solutions across 120 Fanzz retail stores throughout the US and online.

Kenco is a leading provider of integrated logistics solutions, transportation management, and material handling equipment. Fanzz selected Kenco to provide end-to-end supply chain visibility and real-time reporting capabilities for efficient distribution to the company’s nationwide network of retail stores, direct-to-consumer fulfillment and online orders.

“We strongly believe that integrating with Kenco will turn one of our perpetual challenges as a company into a strength. Kenco’s expertise and infrastructure will allow us to build a long-term logistics strategy far more robust than we could have otherwise done,” Darren Squires, president of Fanzz, said.

At the 60,000-square-foot Salt Lake City facility, Kenco will provide transportation services that will increase efficiency and reduce costs as Kenco distributes apparel and merchandise to retailers and consumers. Leveraging its extensive experience in developing competitive rates, carrier agreements, and parcel auditing solutions, Kenco will also supply a nationwide parcel solution.

“With our integrated warehousing solutions and dedicated management team, we are looking forward to optimising Fanzz’s supply chain to its 120 stores in the US,” said Denis Reilly, president and CEO, Kenco. “Additionally, the implementation of JDA for warehouse management will provide Fanzz with an innovative solution to continually improve processes while effectively managing change and meeting strategic business objectives.” (SV)
