Chinese PTA spot import prices on rising curve

Spot market of PTA imports also continued to rise on January 5. PTA imported from Taiwan was around US $1,160 / ton, downstream bids were about $1150/ ton and actually negotiated price was in the range of $1150-1155/ ton.
Offers for South Korea's goods were at $1140 / ton, downstream bids were about $1135/ ton and actually negotiated price was in the range of $1135-1140 / ton
PTA market conditions in North China continued to rise on January 5. Cargo holders offered in the range of 8,850-8,900 Yuan / ton, downstream bids focused on 8,800 Yuan / ton, actual negotiation was around 8,850 Yuan / ton.
PTA market price in East China too increased. PTA was offered around 8,850 Yuan / ton, sporadic bids from downstream sector were in the range of 8,750-8,800 Yuan / ton and actually negotiated price was about 8,800 Yuan / ton.
