Moderate demand in China's domestic ASF market

There was moderate demand in China’s domestic market for acrylic staple fibre (ASF) on September 13, and delivery of medium and long-staple ASF was flat.
In East China, the market price of ASF 1.5D was quoted in the range of 17,400-18,000 Yuan/ton, but some offers were quoted lower at 16,800 Yuan/ton.
The offer prices of ASF are strongly supported by manufacturing costs, and there is still room for increase in prices. However, the demand side lacks bullish momentum.
