Taekwang reduces rates at ACN plant, turnaround in Feb

South Korea based - Taekwang Petrochemical has further reduced the operating capacity of its Acrylonitrile (ACN) plant located in Ulsan.
It is also planning to undertake a maintenance turnaround at the plant in February 2013.
“Due to poor market conditions, we have reduced operating rates at the ACN plant from 90 percent to 80 percent from November 10”, a company official informed fibre2fashion.
He also added by saying that the ACN plant will undergo a maintenance turnaround from February 1, 2013
The ACN plant in Ulsan has a production capacity of 290,000 tons per annum.
