Korea based Capro operating CPL plant at lower rates

South Korea based Capro Corp is currently operating its three caprolactam (CPL) lines at lower rates.
A company official informed Fibre2fashion, “The CPL plant based in Ulsan is currently operating at 80% production capacity rate.”
When asked about any maintenance turnaround at the CPL plant, he said,” Capro Corp. undertakes maintenance turnaround every year in the month of October, and so the next turnaround will be in October 2013”.
Line No-1 has a production capacity of 60,000 mt/year, No-2 has a capacity of 60,000 mt/year and No-3 has a capacity of 150,000 mt/year.
