Trend Forum highlight of Texworld USA in Jan

Networking reception and expanded Trend Forum highlight the upcoming winter edition of Texworld USA.

The fourteenth edition of Texworld USA features a record 236 companies and associations from 16 countries, making this the largest winter edition to date. The show takes place the 14th to 16th of January at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.

First-time exhibitors from Belaruse, Turkey and Taiwan will be showcased. Participation from key partners Lenzing and CCPIT TEX has increased.

New for January, Texworld USA will host a networking reception the afternoon of the opening day, on the show floor. “We want to provide an opportunity for the exhibitors and attendees to come together in a professional, enjoyable environment to discuss current industry topics and trends,” says John P. Gallagher, President and CEO of Messe Frankfurt USA.

Another attraction is the expanded trend forum. Paris art directors Louis Gerin and Gregory Lamaud, of 2G2L, will be available for consultation in the trend forum at specified times daily. In addition, an official Spring/Summer 2014 trend book will be distributed to each attendee, highlighting the latest in color and trend stories.

Industry merchandisers will assist some of the exhibitors with their displays, allowing for better visual appeal and ease of sourcing during the three day event. Students from FIT will also be on hand during the show to assist with set up, registration and all around show support to gain a better idea of industry life after school.

Texworld USA January 2013 -

Texworld USA is the largest sourcing event in North America for apparel fabric buyers, research and product development specialists, designers, merchandisers and overseas sourcing professionals. The fourteenth edition of Texworld USA will take place January 14 - 16, 2013 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City.
