Paraxylene prices rise in Southeast Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices surged in Asian markets. In S E Asian region, PX prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1710/ton to US$ 1715/ton. In F E Asian market, PX prices were quoted at US$ 1690/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market went down and were offered in the range of US$ 1705/ton to US$ 1710/ton.
 
PTA prices stayed steady in the Asian region. In S E Asian market, PTA prices remained unchanged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1185/ton. In F E Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1190/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market maintained a stable trend and were quoted in the range of US$ 1200/ton to US$ 1205/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices went down and were quoted in the range of RMB 8550/ton to RMB 8600/ton.
 
Ethylene prices remained unchanged in Asian markets. In S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1425/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were stable at US$ 1370/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were offered in the range of 61.50 cents/pound to 62.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices increased in the European international and domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1525/ton and € 1165/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices remained steady in Asia. In S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 1180/ton. In China market, MEG prices were steady and were assessed in the range of US$ 1180/ton to US$ 1185/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 8500/ton to RMB 8550/ton. 
 
In S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained steady in the range of US$ 1570/ton to US$ 1600/ton and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1560/ton to US$ 1590/ton. In F E Asian market, selling offers were between US$ 1550/ton to US$ 1580/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices were steady at RMB 11500/ton.
 
In Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1430/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices were offered in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1460/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices were stable in the range of RMB 10900/ton to RMB 10950/ton.
 
PSF prices remained steady in Asian markets. In F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1690/ton. In S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were quoted at US$ 1590/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained unchanged and were offered in the range of RMB 11625/ton to RMB 11675/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices were steady and were quoted at RMB 11650/ton, RMB 13000/ton, and RMB 12075/ton, respectively. In export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY were unchanged at US$ 1605/ton, US$ 1785/ton, and US$ 1655/ton, respectively.
