MEG prices rise in Chinese international market

Paraxylene (PX) prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices stayed unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1430/ton to US$ 1435/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1410/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market remained stable and were assessed in the range of US$ 1440/ton to US$ 1445/ton. 
           
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices increased in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices were assessed at US$ 1065/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market were steady and quoted in the range of US$ 1055/ton to US$ 1060/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices decreased and were offered in the range of RMB 7710/ton to RMB 7760/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices were offered in the range of US$ 1255/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1170/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices increased and were quoted in the range of 60.00 cents/pound to 60.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained stable in the European international as well as domestic markets, and were quoted at US$ 1250/ton and € 1000/ton, respectively.  
 
MEG prices showed mixed trend in Asia. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices were offered at US$ 970/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices inched up and were assessed in the range of US$ 960/ton to US$ 965/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined and were quoted in the range of RMB 7050/ton to RMB 7100/ton. 
 
In the S E Asian region, BG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1420/ton to US$ 1440/ton, and some deals were discussed in the range of US$ 1410/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers rose to US$ 1400/ton to US$ 1440/ton, while talked prices were between US$ 1380/ton and US$ 1400/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices decreased and were quoted at RMB 9750/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1230/ton to US$ 1260/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were steady in the range of US$ 1280/ton to US$ 1320/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were offered in the range of RMB 9400/ton to RMB 9450/ton.
 
PSF prices remained stable in Asian markets. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1465/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices were offered at US$ 1365/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices stayed unchanged and were assessed in the range of RMB 10005/ton to RMB 10055/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained stable at RMB 10475/ton, RMB 12050/ton, and RMB 10700/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY stayed stable at US$ 1445/ton, US$ 1660/ton, and US$ 1465/ton, respectively.
