BG PET Chips prices dip in Southeast Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices shot up in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices increased and were offered in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1455/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were assessed at US$ 1430/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1445/ton to US$ 1450/ton. 
           
PTA prices increased in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices went up in the range of US$ 1065/ton to US$ 1070/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1070/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market decreased and were assessed in the range of US$ 1060/ton to US$ 1065/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices decreased and were assessed in the range of RMB 7700/ton to RMB 7750/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices followed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were quoted in the range of US$ 1265/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1225/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined and were quoted in the range of 53.50 cents/pound to 54.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices went down in the European international market and went up in the European domestic market, and were offered at US$ 1300/ton and €1035/ton, respectively.  
   
MEG prices remained stable in Asia. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices stayed stable and were offered at US$ 1015/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices remained stable in the range of US$ 1010/ton to US$ 1015/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices went up and were quoted in the range of RMB 7425/ton to RMB 7475/ton.         
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers declined and were assessed at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1370/ton and US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices stayed stable and were assessed at RMB 9800/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices went down in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 9325/ton to RMB 9375/ton.
 
PSF prices went down in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were offered at US$ 1465/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were assessed at US$ 1365/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices went down and were assessed in the range of RMB 10005/ton to RMB 10055/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY remained unchanged at RMB 10350/ton, RMB 11950/ton, and RMB 10425/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY declined and were quoted at US$ 1425/ton, US$ 1645/ton, and US$ 1420/ton, respectively.
