Paraxylene prices dip in Southeast Asian region

Paraxylene (PX) prices declined in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, PX prices went down and were assessed in the range of US$ 1450/ton to US$ 1455/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PX prices were offered at US$ 1440/ton. Prices of PX imported from Taiwanese market remained unchanged and were quoted in the range of US$ 1455/ton to US$ 1460/ton. 
           
PTA prices stayed steady in the Asian region. In the Southeast Asian market, PTA prices stayed stable and were quoted in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, PTA prices were offered at US$ 1090/ton. Prices of PTA imported from Taiwanese market surged and were assessed in the range of US$ 1085/ton to US$ 1090/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices were stable and were offered in the range of RMB 7725/ton to RMB 7775/ton.   
 
Ethylene prices followed mixed trend in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian market, Ethylene prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1215/ton to US$ 1220/ton. In the Fareast Asian region, Ethylene prices were assessed at US$ 1190/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices declined and were assessed in the range of 53.00 cents/pound to 53.50 cents/pound. Ethylene prices surged in the European international market and were stable in the European domestic market, and were assessed at US$ 1335/ton and €1045/ton, respectively.  
   
MEG prices declined in Asian markets. In the Southeast Asian region, MEG prices went down and were assessed at US$ 1075/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices increased in the range of US$ 1075/ton to US$ 1080/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices declined and were assessed in the range of RMB 7825/ton to RMB 7875/ton.           
 
In the Southeast Asian region, BG PET Chips prices were steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton and some deals were discussed at around US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1400/ton. In the Fareast Asian market, selling offers declined at US$ 1390/ton to US$ 1430/ton, while talked prices were offered between US$ 1370/ton and US$ 1390/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained steady and were offered at RMB 10000/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices were steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 1220/ton to US$ 1250/ton. In Indian market, FOB based prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 1270/ton to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices remained stable and were offered in the range of RMB 9350/ton to RMB 9400/ton.
 
PSF prices increased in Asian markets. In the Fareast Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1475/ton. In the Southeast Asian market, PSF prices were quoted at US$ 1375/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices remained steady and were assessed in the range of RMB 10175/ton to RMB 10225/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, prices of Polyester POY, DTY and FDY were stable at RMB 10400/ton, RMB 12000/ton, and RMB 10525/ton, respectively. In the export market, prices for POY, DTY, and FDY surged and were assessed at US$ 1445/ton, US$ 1665/ton, and US$ 1450/ton, respectively.
