Ecological textile industrial city project starts in China

An ecological textile industrial city project has started in the Chinese autonomous province of Ningxia.
The Ningxia Ruyi Technology Fashion Industry Industrial City project, being set up with an investment of 10 billion yuan, will become a model for the highest international standards. It is expected to have the complete industrial chain for production of high-end textile products.
The textile park, to be set up in Helan County, would have facility to spin yarn, produce polyester textiles, garments, and decorative products.
The textile production base would be synchronized with parks, scenic spots, etc to have more than one cycle of economic system and maintain ecological balance.
Once fully-operational, the ecological textile production park would employ 15 million people.
The Shandong Ruyi Group has invested in the textile industrial city project for production of 300,000 tons of high-grade spun yarn, 20,000 tons of high-grade combed yarn, 100 million metres of high-grade fabrics, and 30 million pieces of high-end clothing items.
