DuPont named among top 10 Best Corporate Citizens

Corporate Responsibility (CR) Magazine has named DuPont No. 1 in the materials sector in its recent list of Top 10 Best Corporate Citizens.  Earlier this year, DuPont was ranked No. 16 on CR Magazine’s Top 100 Best Corporate Citizens. 

Companies are ranked based on publicly available information in seven categories: environment, climate change, employee relations, human rights, governance, finance and philanthropy.

DuPont material science innovations are providing smart, sustainable solutions.  More than half of the world’s 400 million solar panels installed since 1975 contain DuPont designed innovations to boost power output and extend system lifetime. 

The company’s innovations of renewable polymers enables lightweighting and helps reduce dependence on fossil fuels.  Advanced, lightweight materials to replace metal in vehicles are making cars lighter, improving gas mileage and reducing emissions.  And building materials improve the energy efficiency of homes and offices around the globe.
