Miller Waste Mills, an industry leader in textile and fiber processing and recycling since 1923, is proud to announce a significant milestone: the company has received ISO 9001:2008 certification.

According to Nancy Hunze, Sales and Marketing Manager, achieving ISO 9001:2008 certification is a natural extension of the company’s longstanding commitment to quality processing. “Attaining ISO certification reinforces the quality values that Miller Waste Mills has had since its inception,” says Hunze. “We are one of the few companies in the industry to achieve this distinction.”

Developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), ISO 9001:2008 is a manufacturing standard that requires the definition, establishment, and maintenance of an effective quality assurance system for manufacturing companies. It is designed to ensure that a manufacturing company meets the needs of its customers and stakeholders while also meeting regulatory requirements related to the product, and includes components such as customer satisfaction levels, on-time deliveries, and continuous improvement processes.

Miller Waste Mills is committed to providing outstanding quality products through its unique custom fiber reprocessing techniques, and views ISO 9001:2008 certification as a validation of that commitment.
