Portico New York, India’s leading home fashion brand, is a part of Heimtextil India, this year. Held from 19th – 21st June at Pragati Maidan, it is the biggest international trade fair for home and contract textiles. On showcase are some of Portico New York’s latest trends through 3 collections at the trade fair – Manish Arora, Tree of Life Collection and International Embroidery.

With a mission to make Indian homes more fashionable, Portico New York caters to individual aspirations to ensure their homes look and feel fashionable and expressive. In this changing landscape Portico New York is ushering in global fashion into Indian homes with innovation and creativity. With an attempt to take the beauty of the ramp and move it to the comfort of people’s homes, Portico New York will showcase 3 collections.

These are inspired from trends like ‘Eclectic’, ‘Filgree’ & ‘Bargello’. Nothing symbolizes eclectic better than Manish Arora. He returns with yet another line of stunningly designed bed and bath range for Portico New York.  These reflect Indian charm through nature and its element. Ad for those who love the psychedelic, there are kaleidoscopic prints inspired by myriad aesthetic layers of India.

Through the art of Filgree, Portico New York launches the Tree of Life Collection. This collection takes you back in time to an era that was known for opulence and aristocracy. The Tree of Life range of bed and bath linen with heavy influences from the Mughal era and designs that showcase ornate carvings, rich hues, intricate floral and quintessential Persian designs.

The Bargello trend which is a needle point type of embroidery having mathematical patterns to create motifs is beautifully symbolized through the International Embroidery range of bed and bath linen. This collection has stunning hues, elegant patterns, vibrant colour combinations and the soft and luxurious feel of intricately done embroidery.
