PX, MEG & PSF prices increase in Asian markets

Paraxylene (PX) prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, PX prices surged and were offered in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian market, PX prices increased and were quoted at US$ 1390/ton. Prices of PX imported from the Taiwanese market kept inert and were quoted in the range of US$ 1375/ton to US$ 1380/ton.
 
PTA prices remained steady in the Asian region. In the S E Asian market, PTA prices kept steady and were quoted in the range of US$ 975/ton to US$ 980/ton. In the F E Asian market, PTA prices remained stable and were assessed at US$ 955/ton. Prices of PTA imported from the Taiwanese market stayed steady and were offered in the range of US$ 950/ton to US$ 955/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PTA prices remained stable in the range of RMB 7200/ton to RMB 7250/ton.
 
Ethylene prices kept inert in Asian markets. In the S E Asian market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1405/ton to US$ 1410/ton. In the F E Asian region, Ethylene prices kept unchanged and were quoted at US$ 1385/ton. In the US market, Ethylene prices remained steady and were quoted in the range of 57.00 cents/pound to 58.00 cents/pound. Ethylene prices remained steady in the European international as well as in domestic markets and were offered at US$ 1290/ton and € 1020/ton, respectively.
 
MEG prices increased in Asian markets. In the S E Asian region, MEG prices surged and were quoted at US$ 1010/ton. In the Chinese international market, MEG prices declined and were assessed in the range of US$ 990/ton to US$ 995/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, MEG prices kept stable in the range of RMB 7500/ton to RMB 7550/ton.
 
In the S E Asian region, prices of BG PET Chips remained steady in the range of US$ 1355/ton to US$ 1395/ton, and some deals were concluded in the range of US$ 1365/ton to US$ 1405/ton. In the F E Asian market, selling offers were stable in the range of US$ 1370/ton to US$ 1410/ton, while talked prices were steady in the range of US$ 1380/ton to US$ 1420/ton. In the Chinese market, BG PET Chips prices remained stable and were offered in the range of RMB 9400/ton to RMB 9450/ton.
 
In the Korean market, FG PET Chips prices remained steady and were offered in the range of US$ 1170/ton to US$ 1190/ton. In the Indian market, FOB based prices were steady in the range of US$ 1240/ton to US$ 1270/ton. In the Chinese market, FG PET Chips prices increased and were quoted in the range of RMB 9325/ton to RMB 9375/ton.
 
PSF prices increased in the Asian region. In the F E Asian market, PSF prices rose to US$ 1415/ton. In the S E Asian market, PSF selling prices inched up to US$ 1310/ton. In the Chinese domestic market, PSF prices surged and were quoted in the range of RMB 9900/ton to RMB 9950/ton.
 
In the Chinese domestic market, Polyester POY, DTY and FDY prices stayed inert and were quoted at RMB 10550/ton, RMB 11600/ton and RMB 10500/ton, respectively. In the export market, offers for POY, DTY, and FDY increased to US$ 1450/ton, US$ 1580/ton, and US$ 1430/ton, respectively.
