Santex Group unveils new products at ITMA Munich 2007

Santex Group announced at the recent press conference organized by Swissmem that it will introduce its latest developments in three product lines at the upcoming ITMA show in Munich.

Santex launched its latest additions to its flagship product, the knits relax dryer Santashrink. Santashrink Super Jumbo, the highest-capacity dryer of the line, has been further expanded to provide unmatched drying power.

Drying air speed at the nozzles is now finely adjustable to adapt the dryer's performances to the most various fabric demands.

Additions include also an enhanced energy saving package and the new “SantAccess” bar-code management systems.

Cavitec displayed its latest coating head, “CAVIMELT PLUS”, featuring an add-on device which allows for the first time full hotmelt covering of extremely fine weights.

CAVIMELT PLUS is suitable to all hotmelt coating and laminating applications where fine accuracy and reproducibility is needed such as automotive, medical textiles, high-tech garmenting.

Santex and Sperotto Rimar showcased the newly engineered version of Santasoft, an open-width continuous tumble dryer to provide softness and shrinkage in weft and warp directions.

This technology is widely used in the fields of apparel, automotive, terry towels – Santex claims this machine to be the top in its class for production capacity and effect imparted.

Finally, Santex and Sperotto Rimar unveiled a new open-width compacting machine for knits and woven fabrics, which is assured to become by far the fastest- and best-performing product of this kind. The product has been nicknamed “Cheetah” to underline its speed performances.
