In the Month of January, Chinese exports took a new turn as figures from all the markets saw a new high, taking the country's economy to a greater heights.
According to Custom Department, total trade value between China and European Union in January 2008, reached nearly US $34.38 billion, an increase of 30.1 percent compared to similar period of last year. Trade with America rose to $26.23 billion, up by 12.2 percent.
Besides, overseas earning from India was approximately $4.64 billion, a boost of 76.7 percent, making it ninth largest business partner of China. Japan remained third largest trade partner of the country.
In this period, Guangdong and Jiangsu Provinces along with Shanghai city, hold top three positions. Guangdong ranks first, with total import and export value reaching $53.15 billion.
The revenue earned from the export of clothes and accessories was nearly $9.94 billion, a boost of 22.3 percent. Yarns, fabric and other related products fetched around $5.39 billion, hike of 34.8 percent. Shoe products gained roughly $2.62 billion showing a growth of 16.3 percent.
