French textile universities to exchange expertise with NTU

France would sign a MoU with the National Textile University (NTU), Faisalabad, to exchange expertise of the NTU with French Textile Colleges and Universities, said Ambassador of France in Pakistan, Mr Daniel Jouanneau.
He also visited Spinning, Weaving, Textile Chemistry and Garments sections as well as Testing Laboratory of NTU. According to the Ambassador, France imports 80 percent of quality textile goods from Pakistan.
He suggested to the rector and teachers of NTU to negotiate for joint ventures with French Embassy in Islamabad and was full of praise when he said, “The NTU is contributing a lot to the national economy, which a good amount of foreign exchange into the country”.
