8th Convocation of NITRA to be held on Nov 14

NITRA has established itself as a centre of excellence for providing manpower training in different disciplines of textile & apparel industry. So far, through its full-time programs, NITRA has trained about 1200 young boys & girls aspiring to make a career in textile & apparel industry.
It is a matter of great satisfaction that by and large all of them are absorbed by the industry and well settled. In addition, about 450 working executives enrolled in DLP programs offered by NITRA for career advancement.
8th Convocation will be held at NITRA Campus, Gzb. on the Saturday, 14th November 2009 at 11.30 am.This year 225 graduands will receive certificates from Smt. Rita Menon, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, GoI. Sh. Praveen Nayyar, Vice Chairman, AEPC and Dr. J. N. Singh, IAS, Jt. Secretary, Ministry of Textiles, GoI will also grace the occasion as the Guests of Honour.
