Yesim Tekstil wins Exports Performance Award

This year, Yesim Satis Magazalari ve Tekstil Fabrikasi A.S. won the bronze prize for Exports Performance awarded to stock corporations conducting foreign trade that achieve the highest increase in their exports compared to the previous year in scope of the Stars of Export “Export Incentive Awards” contest organized by the Dünya Gazetesi periodical and sponsored by Akbank with the cooperation of DHL Turkey.

At the award ceremony held at the Marmara Hotel on Tuesday evening, February 16, Bican Güçlü, General Director of Yesim Satis Magazalari received the award on behalf of Yesim. The bronze prize was presented to Mr. Güçlü by Ismail Gülle, Head of the Istanbul Textile & Apparel Exporters' Associations (ITKIB) organization.

Yesim Tekstil employs some 3,000 people in its garment and home textiles production carried out in a total of 325,000 square meters of which 144,000 is closed, 181,000 open. The company is based in Bursa in northwest Turkey, one of the most industrialized and culturally charged metropolitan centers in the country.
