Home textiles sector posts excellent growth rate

Data collated from 15 industrial clusters and 150 key manufacturers, reveals that the home textiles sector is on an upward trend, said the China Home Textile Association.
In the firs five months of 2010, the home textile industry registered growth in production, sales and export, despite soaring cost of raw material and labour.
The demand recovery from European and American markets and development of new markets has helped exports from the sector to a very large extent.
The production to sales ratio was 98.12 percent, which is 0.12 percent higher year on year. The profit rate also went up by 0.43 percent, a 0.12 percent gain.
