Consumers will have an opportunity to experience Sunbrella fabrics in many different applications at the Southern Living Idea House under construction in Horseshoe Bay, Texas. As the exclusive outdoor fabrics sponsor, Sunbrella fabrics will be featured in outdoor living areas that include gardens, porches, an outdoor dining room and a boat house. Hill Country Shades of Austin will construct awnings for various outdoor spaces.
Southern Living and Sunbrella fabrics are also partnering through the magazine's Custom Builder Program, which consists of 200 elite homebuilders who carry the magazine's name and high standards for construction. Awnings made with Sunbrella fabrics are being promoted to the program's builders, and Southern Living also sells home plans to thousands of interested readers every year. This year, Sunbrella brochures will be included with each of the home plans, suggesting that homeowners consider awnings made with Sunbrella fabrics.
