Chinese cotton imports down in April

China's cotton import volume continued to decline in April from the previous month.
April imports registered 210,000 tons, a decline of 35 percent year on year and 23.9 percent from the previous month, according to customs statistics.
Unit price of cotton imports rose further and stood at US $3,170 per ton in April, an increase of 80.4 percent year on year and 2.3 percent from the previous month.
