Textile chemicals producer RACL recently organised a technical seminar in the knitwear hub of Tirupur, to share new concepts from RACL and update its customers on the latest trends in textile processing.

Dr. Schumann, chairman of Rudolf Group began the seminar by giving an overview on the group, which has a presence in 22 countries and also has 50 service locations worldwide.

“In view of the latest developments in textile industry, textile chemicals will be key focus for Rudolf Group and we will continue to invest globally as well as in India to service textile customers,” he said.

Dr. GVG Rao, managing director, RACL offered an insight on RACL and the milestones that the company has achieved since its inception in 2011.

He highlighted the global consumption pattern of fibres, which has changed from cotton to polyester and said that Chinese textile exports, which are showing a negative growth rate, are an opportunity for Indian textile makers.

Shekhar Singh, business head of RACL shared a few success stories of RACL during the last four years which includes CBR processing, yarn lubricants and terry towel softeners. (AR)
