TexValley, an integrated wholesale textile trading centre developed by Erode Textile Mall Ltd., under the Comprehensive Power loom Cluster Development Scheme of the Textiles Ministry will integrate 225 wholesalers in its fold on Thursday (June 9).

A ceremony will mark the handing over keys to the leading wholesalers in the presence of T.L. Balakumar, Deputy Director and Officer In-Charge, Regional Textile Commissioner's Office, Coimbatore.

Pothys, Nandu Brand Lungies, BKS Textiles, Chentex, Cotton Blossom, ADT Saral, Volume Zero, Pommy Garments, Twin Birds, Tantex, and Kibs Lungies are among the wholesalers who have booked showrooms in the main mall.

Over the next 15 months, other wholesalers who booked their showrooms would be given possession in phases, P. Periyasamy, Chairman of Texvalley, told reporters in Coimbatore on Monday.

TexValley market promotion linking buyers across the country will ensure higher cost realisation and profit for manufacturers in the region, he said. There will be 12 product zones with over 100 manufacturers and wholesalers in each.

He also said that an Index system for easy identification of sellers will save cost and time for buyers. Under TexValley Promotion Initiative, executives have reached out to thousands of buyers by posting information about manufacturers and traders on online platform.

TexValley has also signed MoU with Fibre2Fashion.com to take it to large textile fraternity across the country. (SH)
