Vice President of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Hoang Van Dung submitted proposal to Ministry of Trade (MOT) on mechanism of allocating and controlling textile and apparel goods export to US in 2007.
According to official sources, Dung advised MOT to focus more on transparency of the existing allocation mechanism and to provide clear and true information about manufacturers' capacity, export volume and export price that are submitted to MOT by the enterprises.
Based on this information, VCCI will announce publicly information about volume to help authorities for controlling export volume as well as to prevent fraud in exports to US.
