Thus, in addition to Power, Water, Drainage, Sewerage, Infocomm and Energy connections, SPV is being incorporated to set-up all the common facilities, namely
-Training Centre -Administration Building -Worker Hostel & Creche -Customs office and security -Laboratory -Exhibition Hall -Canteen, First – Aid and Fire station
Thus Textile & Apparel cluster already has the following: * Mundra Port (In-Zone) * Mundra International Container Terminal (In-Zone) * Rail link at Port Head * Airport – Bhuj, Mandvi, Kandla and Mundra (Airstrip to be ready by May 2006) * Social infrastructure like – Housing, Healthcare, Schools, etc already present.
Mundra SEZ developer along with the Industry association or Group of entrepreneurs would lead the SPV.
International Buying houses would also have their offices and would participate and give guidance to units for yarn, cloth and machinery to be used as per their requirements.
Over and above this, Adani Exports Ltd. is the largest exporter and a 5 Star Export House. So the units will get all guidance, assistance and support to export the end product.
We believe that the integrated nature of the Park, existing multi-modal logistics of the port and the container terminal, all the common facilities required by Textile and Garments and particularly the spinning, weaving, processing, apparel and made-up units, the cluster format will be of great advantage.
