360pi & JDA Software offer online retail pricing solution

360pi, one of the leading price intelligence providers for retailers and brands, has join hands with JDA Software, one of the top providers of end-to-end, integrated retail, and supply chain planning and execution solutions, to deliver local pricing recommendations for online retailers.

The partnership integrates 360pi’s zone-based pricing intelligence for national and private label brands with JDA’s rules-based Strategic Pricing solution, part of JDA’s larger Price and Promotion Management portfolio. JDA’s Strategic Pricing solution converts 360pi’s competitive pricing intelligence into internal pricing rules, which retailers then use to right-price their assortment, helping them efficiently and effectively navigate retail pricing in competitive markets, JDA Software said in a statement.

Dan Groneck, vice president of product management at JDA Software said, “Retailers struggle to define item-level, localized pricing that adheres to corporate brand image and category strategies, leading to lost margin opportunities and damage to brand equity.”

“Integrating JDA’s solutions with 360pi’s zone pricing insights enables our mutual customers to establish and realize localized pricing that delivers increased margins, sales, brand value and customer satisfaction,” he added.

Alexander Rink, CEO of 360pi, said, “Stores are local, competitors are regional, and brands are national, while online shoppers are all three. The challenge for retailers is how to navigate localized market dynamics to convert shoppers, optimize margins and maintain a positive and consistent brand image.”

“We are extremely pleased to work with acknowledged retail powerhouse JDA to help retailers effectively navigate the omni-channel landscape to realize increased margins and revenues,” he added.

JDA Software’s unique solutions help clients optimize costs, increase revenue, and reduce the time to value to deliver on time.

360pi helps top retailers compete and win in an increasingly price transparent environment. The company actively monitors millions of products from hundreds of retailer websites and delivers price intelligence for exact and similar matched products with unprecedented accuracy. (GK)
