Several apparel retailers worldwide are focussing on providing quality service and improved shopping experience to buyers by offering trendy and quality products.

In an interview with fibre2fashion, CEO of Splash, Mr. Raza Beig said, “We are focussing on all aspects of clothing including quality, specks, visual and emotional appeal of the products, etc.”

“As a high street retailer, we are also focussing on the latest trends in the clothing market,” he informs.

According to Mr. Paul Kendrick, marketing director of JD Williams, the garment retailers need to focus on better customer insight and expert use of data by providing personalise offers and by improving shopping experience.

However, “The challenges faced by the clothing retailers is to understand the changing trends in shopping such as the rapid usage of Internet and mobile devices to research and buy products.”

In order to compete with the e-commerce market, several brick and mortar apparel retailers, including the world’s largest fashion retailer Inditex, the global adventure wear brand Woodland, the premium garment brand Monte Carlo and the British heritage brand Crombie, have introduced e-stores to support their sales.
