Ready to wear brand A.L.C partners Interluxe

Founded in 2009 by designer Andrea Lieberman, A.L.C., a ready to wear brand has partnered with InterLuxe, a portfolio company of Lee Equity Partners.
“The collection delivers a refined canon of essentials through sophisticated, yet considered pieces,” a joint press release from A.L.C. and Interluxe said.
The investment in A.L.C. is the second fashion partnership for InterLuxe as it has earlier partnered with the New York-based fashion brand Jason Wu in September 2014.
Lieberman said, "The InterLuxe and Lee Equity teams have a unique combined strength while their industry knowledge, experience, and relationships make them the right strategic partner.”
“Most importantly, they share a common vision for the future success of A.L.C. and are fully committed to the exciting journey that lies ahead," she added.
Melissa Beste, CEO of InterLuxe, said, "A.L.C. makes beautifully designed collections that appeal to the modern, sophisticated woman.”
“The brand has great momentum, and we are extremely excited to be partnering with Andrea Lieberman as she has an extraordinary talent and is an emerging leader in American womenswear," Beste noted.
The Sage Group, LLC and Buchalter Nemer served as advisors to A.L.C. StoneCastle Securities, LLC served as exclusive placement agent to InterLuxe.
Born and raised in New York City, Andrea Lieberman graduated from Parsons School of Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Fashion, and in 2011 was accepted into the CFDA.
A.L.C. has been recognised as a leader in advanced contemporary design and is sold at leading retailers, including Barneys, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Intermix, Harvey Nichols, Harrods and Matches.
InterLuxe is a New York-based brand platform that seeks to partner with growing, high potential fashion and luxury brands.
InterLuxe was founded by Gary Wassner, who serves as chairman of InterLuxe and Cliff Moskowitz, who serves as president of InterLuxe.
Wassner has advised and financed fashion brands for over 35 years as CEO of Hilldun Corporation, while Moskowitz has prior investing and operating experience in the private equity industry.
Management of InterLuxe is led by CEO Melissa Beste, a fashion executive with prior leadership experience at Akris, Alexander McQueen, and Saks Fifth Avenue. (AR)
