IAM marks a milestone by inking MoU with NTU

Dec '07
In continuation to international partnerships which IAM had in last four months, the latest is to have a MoU with Nottingham Trent University (NTU), UK.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed on 6th December 2007 between Institute of Apparel Management & Nottingham Trent University, UK. Signing of this MoU marks an important milestone for IAM.

NTU and IAM wish to explore opportunities for promoting co-operation and contact between their institutions with the aim of promoting academic co-operation in such areas of graduate transfer from IAM to courses at Nottingham Trent School of Art & Design (NTSAD) and where applicable NTSAD graduate transfer to IAM; Study visits, staff/student exchange programmes, academic research, academic consultancy and joint or exchange exhibitions for staff and students of both institutions.

To promote the brand IAM and to explore the possibility of having an association with renowned international institutes, a delegation comprising of Shri Anil Kumar Bamba, SG, AEPC and Dr. Pradeep Joshi, Director (IAM) had visited Nottingham Trent University on 26th June 2007.

The delegation exchanged views on a wide range of areas of mutual cooperation between both the institutes. Subsequent to their visit, a delegation from NTU visited Institute of Apparel Management, India on 14th September 2007.

Both the teams from IAM & NTU exchanged views in a very candid manner and made a very good wrap-up of their discussions and reached an agreement (MoU) on a wide range of subjects.
