World Emblem gets Passion for Partnership award

World Emblem, one of the world’s leading global suppliers of high quality apparel decorations, has been given the Aramark’s inaugural Passion for Partnership award. Aramark has instituted the Passion for Partnership award for the first time in its 58-year history to honour vendors who go above and beyond Aramark’s expectations to accomplish a goal.

For the first time in Aramark's fifty-eight-year history, they have instated the Passion for Partnership award to highlight vendors who have gone above and beyond Aramark’s expectations to accomplish a goal for their clients.

“On behalf of the entire World Emblem team, we are extremely honoured that Aramark selected us for the Passion for Partnership award. Aramark has been a tremendous client to work with and we are glad that we can continue to build on this successful partnership over the last 25 years” states Randy Carr, CEO and president of World Emblem.

Aramark, a 12-billion-dollar company who engages in the provision of food, facilities, and uniform services to education, healthcare, business, sports, leisure, and corrections clients, had been working with one of their top strategic clients to supply them with new uniforms for all their staff. This client received an order of uniforms in which the decoration applied did not comply with their quality or design expectations.

Carrie Porter, senior director of Procurement and Global Sourcing needed to rectify the situation and turn-around an extremely large order in very little time. Porter reached out to several embellishment decorators for assistance and guidance, but World Emblem was the quickest to reply with the best solution possible. Within the hour, Tony Morando, vice president of sales at World Emblem had created a plan to achieve Aramark’s goals and satisfy their strategic client in the timeline requested.

“World Emblem went above and beyond, not only coming up with a solution but with an innovative idea that Aramark’s client loved for a new enhancement to the garment,” Porter shared.

World Emblem’s Production Team worked overtime during the weekend to ensure the orders would meet their deadlines and production managers kept a watching eye on quality during the execution of this order to ensure it would meet the client’s high standards. World Emblem stayed true to their Core Values and got the job done.

“World Emblem exceeded our expectations and the products were delivered even earlier than expected to the client,” Porter added. “We consider World Emblem a true partner, when the going got tough World Emblem jumped in and helped us salvage this large installation. Aramark is thrilled to present them with this award.” (SV)
