Mutoh Europe, EMEA business unit of Mutoh Industries, Japan, has announced that Mitsuo Takatsu will take up the role of managing director of Mutoh Europe and Mutoh Deutschland, effective April 1, 2020. Kenji Yasuhara will retire a managing director of the company on March 31, 2020. Mutoh is a leading developer of textile machinery headquartered in Japan.
Kenji Yasuhara joined Mutoh in 2014. As the successor of Takatsu will be overseeing all sales, sales support, logistics, marketing, product & application support as well as after-sales support activities for Mutoh throughout the EMEA business area, according to Mutoh.
Graduated from Sophia University, Tokyo, Japan, faculty of humanities in 1984, Takatsu joined Mutoh in August 2019. Before joining Mutoh, Takatsu worked for Panasonic for 35 years, occupying several senior sales and marketing roles, including 15 years overseas (ten years in Germany and five years in Russia).
