Michele Ateyeh to grow ANG's luxury brands portfolio

Accessory Network Group LLC ("ANG") announced that in a move to expand their Prestige Brands Division they have named industry veteran Michele ("Mickey") Ateyeh as President of the Division. ANG's Prestige Division currently includes the wholly owned luxury brand Ghurka as well as the Calvin Klein and Isaac Mizrahi licenses.
Michele Ateyeh, who was most recently President and COO of Lambertson Truex, has held prominent positions at some of the world's most recognizable luxury company's including Tiffany & Co, Hermes Paris, and was the CEO and Principal at Angela Cummings Fine Jewelry Inc, until 2003.
As President of the Prestige Brands Division of ANG Ateyeh will have full responsibility over the development, sourcing and sales of Ghurka, Calvin Klein, and Isaac Mizrahi. John Bartlett, who joined Ghurka as Creative Director a year ago, has just successfully launched the first collection under his direction this past fall and will continue in this vital role.
Michele says of her new role at ANG, "The opportunity to work and continue to grow such iconic, creative and well respected name brands is extremely exciting and a responsibility I am looking forward to sharing with the ANG team".
Abe Chehebar, Chairman and CEO of Accessory Network said, "Michele Ateyeh is a great leader and a welcome addition to the ANG family." Chehebar adds, "Her immeasurable talent and knowledge of the luxury business as a whole will help us take our growingportfolio of luxury brands to a new level."
When asked specifically about Ghurka brand Mr. Chehebar said, "Earlier in the year we were reviewing our brand portfolio and considered the possibility of divesting the Ghurka brand."
As we went through the process we realized even more what great potential there is for Ghurka in the luxury sector." He continues, "Now, with Michele on board we have a leader who can affect the full potential for this great American luxury leather brand."
