What are the reasons that have hindered the brand development of China's denim industry?

The expert gave a conclusion that Chinese denim brand development has been immature, unstable, not standardized, no grades and lacks of individuality.

The development of the western region in the US created a special social job and a social crowd being called 'Cowboy'. With its adaptability in times of transition, the evolution of the unique cowboy culture gradually generated.

Jeans are a symbol of cowboy culture. Country's earliest denim dress started in Guangdong region close to Hong Kong and Macao in a way as fashion clothing products. It has seen the rapid rise in more than 20 years, now in China. Denim garment has become people's daily costumes.

From the perspective of the social development between China and the West (primarily the US), China's denim brands not only lack cowboy culture, but also lack certain operating experience.

Therefore, despite the large number of denim brands in the land of China, most brands are staying at a lower operating level, with no difference in marketing, unable to enhance their product quality. So China still needs to tap the cultural signification of various denim brands.
