Meridian & MindShare corners Levi's media campaign

The WPP Group's Bangalore based agency, Meridian Communications, has bagged the Dockers and Slates brands from Levi Strauss & Co. with the agency's media duties going to MindShare.
The size of the business is expected to be around Rs 4-6 crore, industry sources said.
Shyam Sukhramani, Brand Head, Dockers, informed that the brand is set to expand in India and it needed to project its vision and passion through a well known advertising agency.
An agency's strategy should be to provide an insight and a positioning platform to elevate Dockers he said.
Meridian has undertaken some path-breaking work to present a new face of Dockers compatible with global positioning of Dockers.
The media in all probability would include press, outdoor and Internet.
Radio may be used in case of tactical communication. Television is scheduled to be used only next year.
Dockers brand is known for its comfort, durability and style and it focuses on consumers who think that clothes are both a means of expression and a way to live a more interesting life.
Slates is targeted at people who want quality and style, even if it comes at a premium.
