eFashion Solutions & iPost to boost Baby Phat online sales

iPost creates effective email campaigns for driving sales, website traffic, and integrated branding programs announces that the Baby Phat, the women's wear label created by Kimora Lee Simmons, substantially boosts website sales with e-marketing help from eFashion Solutions and iPost.

Baby Phat focuses on web sales because it does not have its own brick-and-mortar stores. Some Baby Phat clothing is sold in Macy's and other retail shops, but the brand depends heavily on email for driving customers to BabyPhat.com, where a much wider selection of merchandise is available.

Featured in Time, on CBS News and in USA Today, eFashion Solutions manages the online operations of fashion-branded manufacturers, offering full, turnkey e-commerce and online marketing solutions. iPost, a leader in retention email marketing services, was hired by eFashion Solutions to manage and deploy the email campaigns for a variety of the agency's customers, such as Baby Phat, as well as JLo by Jennifer Lopez, XOXO and other popular brands.

eFashion began working with iPost in June 2004. efashion Solutions Head of E-Marketing Justin Schaldone said, "iPost substantially improved our ability to gather click-through-to-the-website data, which has been key in helping us determine e-customer interests." DM News reported that iPost helped eFashion improve Baby Phat email delivery about 10 percent in the last year or so.

DM News also reported that click-trough rateson weekly Baby Phat emails -- typically announcing new products available on BabyPhat.com -- have risen 25 to 35 percent, depending on the offer and content. Among those who click through on Baby Phat's weekly promotional emails, 2 to 4 percent purchase merchandise on BabyPhat.com.
