Clearco has announced that its ClearAngel programme is funding African fashion brand Enfinanti, a bold line of hoodies, t-shirts, and other streetwear fuelled by a secret design method. ClearAngel provides early-stage founders access to revenue share capital, data-driven advice, and Clearco’s extensive network of apps, agencies, and investors.

Founded in February 2021, the name Enfinanti is inspired by the founder’s Steben Houenou personal struggle of being the only son in an African family and feeling pressure to prove himself. Houenou looks forward to applying the ClearAngel capital towards the purchase of new samples and releasing a new collection in the coming months. ClearAngel is a rare equity-free, flexible capital option for early-stage founders who lack the network to raise an angel round or participate in exclusive accelerators. The programme has already funded over 350 companies since its February 2021 launch, Clearco said in a press release.

In addition to $10,000 of flexible capital, Enfinanti will also gain a network of over 500 investors, growth teams, agencies, apps, lawyers, and buyers. Houenou will also be able to leverage data-driven advice designed to help scale and hit new revenue milestones.

“We’re excited to fund Enfinanti in its goal to expand its reach and increase brand awareness of its unique designs. This latest ClearAngel funding aligns with our strength of supporting start-ups in the e-commerce and apparel spaces, and also supporting entrepreneurs who don’t neatly fit venture capital’s mould,” Andrew D’Souza, CEO and co-founder at Clearco said in a statement.
