New Zealand fashion designer Kiri Nathan has announced that she will launch her latest collection 'When Two Worlds Collide' on March 8, 2012, to commemorate the International Women's Day.
Acclaimed for her evening wear, Nathan would be unveiling her debut collection after collaborating for the past six months with reputed fashion designer Annah Stretton.
Nathan has used several techniques to impart a new texture to her collection of ten intricately hand-crafted gowns. The stress is on draping and the fabrics engulf the body while allowing flexible movement.
The latest collection in various hues of forest greens, royal purples and reds are suitable for women of all age group, who would love to adorn gowns that have a floor sweeping elegance.
Since launching her own label in 2010, Nathan has won several accolades including the coveted Supreme Award at Westfield Style Pasifika, New Zealand's most prestigious fashion competition, and Miromoda Fashion Awards.
