Yoga brand Nuala has appointed Magda Berliner as new head designer by US designer Christy Turlington Burns.
Berliner will oversee the apparel division of the yoga inspired lifestyle collection, which also includes accessories and footwear, beginning with the Autumn Winter 2006 season.
Christy Turlington Burns, President and Creative Director of Nuala, said, "Magda's inventive mix of textures and natural fabrics, together with the versatility and signature femininity in her designs, makes her the perfect person to reinterpret Nuala."
"I'm extremely pleased with the Autumn/Winter 06 collection and believe that it eloquently articulates all that Nuala is and aspires to be, encompassing innovative design and movement with effortlessness and elegance," added Christy.
Magda Berliner, a fashion designer in high-end retail with years of experience as a stylist, is known for a signature flair and tactile artisan work, both of which she brings to this next chapter in the brand's aesthetic evolution.
Detailed technique and capricious femininity infuse Berliner's reinterpretation of the Nuala collection for the Autumn/Winter 2006 season.
"I'm very excited to be working with Christy and PUMA for the Nuala collection," said Berliner.
"Working together with Christy has been a wonderful experience as we share the same vision of the modern yet feminine woman. Our collaboration has produced a beautiful, sophisticated and versatile collection," she said.
