Singapore Designers Showcase to be hosted on May 17

The Singapore Designers Showcase is back to provide a dedicated platform for established Singapore designers. The show puts forward the best of homegrown fashion to an audience of local and international buyers, media, and other leaders in the fashion industry.

Organised by the Textile and Fashion Federation and supported by SPRING Singapore, the Singapore Designers Showcase - part of the Audi Fashion Festival, will take place on Saturday, 17 May 2014, at 5pm, Tent at Orchard.

Curated by Mr David Wang, Vice-President of the Textile and Fashion Federation, the Singapore Designers Showcase will feature three homegrown labels: AIJEK by Danelle Woo, AWOL (all walks of life) by Alfie Leong and TRIOLOGIE by Sylvia Lim and Jennifer Neo.

Reality of life and the fantasy of dreams come together in AIJEK's Fall Winter 2014 collection "Fly Home". AWOL presents “State of mind”. This collection retrospective the past, embrace the present and wander the future, focusing on happy moments despite practicality. TRIOLOGIE is taking a little spin around the 80s this season and popping up colours like never before! Their collection this season, “Kaleidoscope”, is taking the best of the 80s era and translating them into uber chic looks: Rubik's Cube, Princess of Wales and Mix N Clash.
