Jordanian & local designers show at Palestine Fashion Week

The just concluded second edition of Palestine Fashion Week showcased an array of eclectic designs by labels belonging to Jordan and Palestine.
With a primary aim to highlight the popular and emerging fashion talents in the Palestinian territories, the three-day-long annual event was held at the West Bank city of Ramallah.
The fashion do featured traditional loose fitting robe-like Palestinian women’s costumes, headscarves accompanied demure embroidered dresses, as well as modern short strapless bejewelled numbers.
The Jordanian-Palestinian designer Intisar Abdo highlighted a sumptuous line of chiffon evening gowns decorated with Arabic calligraphy, while Fayzeh Pearl opted to display exquisitely beaded wedding dresses and colourful formal attires at the soiree.
The event was jointly organized by Modelicious Agency and lifestyle magazine Layalina.
